Wellbeing

What We Do

The company supports employee wellbeing across physical, mental, social, and financial areas. Physically, staff benefit from healthy snacks, gym discounts, DSE checks, centrally managed PPE, health surveillance, private healthcare for some, and life insurance for all. Mental wellbeing is strengthened through fully qualified Wellbeing Champions and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme. Social wellbeing is promoted through First Aiders, Fire Wardens, Mental Health First Aiders, cultural audits, engagement surveys, H&S inductions, and a wellbeing-focused H&S policy, alongside charity work with CALM and internal Charity Champions. Financial wellbeing is addressed through fair and transparent job structures, benchmarked pay, accurate and timely salaries, bonuses for all employees, investment in training and development, and the provision of electric vehicles with safety features to help staff save money.

Wellbeing Champions

At Flowtech, our Wellbeing Champions are dedicated to fostering a supportive workplace by offering confidential guidance, reassurance, and initial support to colleagues in need. Trained to listen, signpost using resources like our Employee Assistance Programme and encourage open conversations, they help create an environment where employees feel comfortable seeking help. Their role highlights Flowtech’s commitment to prioritising wellbeing, ensuring no one feels alone, and promoting a culture where mental and emotional health are valued alongside physical health—empowering our people to thrive both personally and professionally.

Our Aim

Physical Health
We promote regular exercise to keep employees active and expand our health screenings and programmes. PMI support has been widened for everyone, and we encourage healthy eating by helping people understand and appreciate its benefits.

Mental Health
We have introduced a Wellbeing Committee and created a group-wide Employee Forum. Open communication is encouraged to strengthen awareness and education, while a supportive work environment integrates mental wellbeing into workplace culture. Our Employee Assistance Programme has also been improved to provide more comprehensive support.

Social Wellbeing
We are integrating ESG and CSR goals to ensure sustainability and community partnerships, while charity events help raise awareness and create social impact. Training and leadership development programmes continue to expand, and through FLOW we promote a “Feel Safe & Live Safe” culture. Additionally, we are committed to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion.

Financial Health
Financial health is supported through expanded employee benefits that promote health and wellness, alongside a commitment to ensuring long-term financial stability and security for all staff. Reward and recognition are integrated into the workplace, while financial education and resources are provided to help employees build knowledge and confidence in managing their finances.
