Flowtech announces new charity partnership with CALM during annual summit at Celtic Manor Resort

The latest Flowtech summer extravaganza took place recently at Celtic Manor resort in Newport, South Wales, bringing together customers, suppliers and partners from across the Fluid Power and Motion Control industry to celebrate the progress made together in supporting a diverse range of vertical industry sectors to operate more efficiently and sustainably.

It was an opportunity for over 200 delegates to network, discuss and learn about key themes across industry, the latest product innovations and for Mike England, CEO of Flowtech to set out the new direction and future ambitions for Flowtech.

One significant announcement at the event, was a new commitment to a national charity partnership with CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), who are a suicide prevention charity offering anonymous support for those who need it.

Flowtech have made a commitment to raise £100,000 by the end of 2025, and hope to launch a new Charity Champion group that will help kick off many fundraising campaigns across the business and the wider industry.

During the Gala Dinner, which occurred on the evening of the first day, over £20,000 was raised by attendees alone, who generously donated to give the fundraising campaign the best start possible.

Mike elaborated on the success of the event, as well as the charity partnership announcement during day one:
