The BFPDA was formed in 1989 and is dedicated to improving the performance of distribution within the Fluid Power Industry. The association is affiliated to the BFPA and has a common secretariat. This accreditation confirms to our customers that we have attained the high standards necessary to be granted membership. There is a published code of professional conduct that we are required to conform to and we have undertaken to support the manufacturers of fluid power products by distributing their products, in a professional and ethical manner

Our Hose Assembly Division has achieved BPDA Q Approved status, meaning it is fully accredited by the British Fluid Power Association (BFPA) for manufacturing and distributing flexible hose assemblies. This accreditation ensures your assemblies meet industry-standard quality control procedures (specifically BFPA D8 for facilities), are made with best practices for safety, and have their facilities and employees regularly inspected and certified.

At Flowtech, we recycle approximately seven tonnes of waste each month, including plastic, paper, metals, and cardboard. We’ve also replaced plastic-filled air bags with locally sourced, recycled packaging for our outbound parcels.
