History
Founded under the name Nelson Hydraulics in May 1965, the Nelson Hydraulics head office was based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. A Dungannon site opened September 2000 as a Hose Assembly facility to serve the local OEM customers.
The Hi-Power business, originally founded in 1983, was spread across three sites in Belfast, Cork and Dublin, focusing on total transport solutions.
After Flowtech bought Nelson Hydraulics in July 2015, and Hi-Power in 2017, they merged the businesses in 2021 and started to operate it as NHP Hydraulics. Then, in April 2024, NHP Hydraulics rebranded to Flowtech as part of the group wide rebranding.
