The shortlist for the Manchester PA Awards has recently been released, and we’re delighted that two of our Flowtech colleagues have been recognised.

Kerryanne Harrison, who is PA to the Leadership team, has been shortlisted in the Excellence Category this year, joining others who have exemplified hard work, dedication and passion within their roles.

And Karen McKay, Executive Assistant to our CEO and CFO, who won the prestigious Manchester PA of the Year in 2023, has followed this up by being shortlisted in the ‘Make a Difference’ category, recognising the fantastic work Karen does supporting mental health and charity work.

The pair will meet with judges later in September where they will be interviewed with other shortlisted senior EA’s and PA’s to see who will be crowned eventual winner of their respective categories.

Launched in 2015, the Manchester PA Awards were the first of their kind in the industry and specifically celebrated achievements and milestones of those professionals involved as a PA in various guises.

They have also previously raised money for the Christie Charity with a raffle included as part of the ceremony. This year’s awards will take place at Emirates Old Trafford, organised by event partner Square Fish Events, on Thursday 28th November 2024.

Kerryanne commented on being shortlisted, following the announcement:

“I’m thrilled to be shortlisted this year for the PA Awards and look forward to attending the ceremony in November. It’s wonderful to get recognised in this way and be able to celebrate recent accomplishments with my friends and fellow nominees in and around Manchester.”

Karen, who follows up her 2023 win by being nominated in a different category, added:

“Last year was such an honour to win Manchester PA of the Year so to be shortlisted for a second time is truly incredible.

“Thanks so much to the judging panel for continuing to encourage and celebrate colleagues in the EA and PA space – I can’t wait to attend the awards for the second year in a row!”

We would like to wish the very best of luck to both Kerryanne and Karen and we will be crossing our fingers for the ceremony in November!
