Flowtech strengthens European footprint with strategic acquisition of Q Plus

We are pleased to announce that today, Q Plus B.V. and its subsidiaries, a specialist distributor and service provider of pneumatics, air compression and vacuum solutions, have become part of Flowtech.

Q Plus is one of the largest independent pneumatic and compressed air specialists in the Netherlands. With a strong and diverse customer base across a range of different industries, they occupy a leading position within the OEM and machine building segment. Q Plus is highly recognised in the market for the quality of their people with high levels of customer service, deep application knowledge with specialist engineering and design expertise.

Q Plus is a great strategic fit with Flowtech, already having a broad and relevant product and service offering, highly recognised technical and application knowledge, engineering and design expertise. All of which are a valuable added service for our existing businesses in the Benelux, which creates excellent exciting leverage opportunities.

This strong and unique combination will provide differentiation through:

• Increased scale and breadth of offering across the Netherlands, Benelux and further strengthening our European platform
• A broad range of new customers in aligned and adjacent market segments, particular within the OEM, machine building and service providers segments
• Enhanced cross selling opportunities with this strong customer base in the OEM and machine building industry
• Q Plus has specialised application knowledge in the food and dairy industry, utilising this expertise to develop their own brand, MelQ, specifically for these applications
• As the official distributor for the Naili compressor range, we foresee many cross and up- sell opportunities in our existing business
• The combination will further accelerate our digital proposition with the foreseeable introduction of our new website into the Benelux in Q1 of this year
