Pipe Threading
An accurately threaded pipe saves you a lot of wasted time and effort. That's why we've invested in the most up-to-date pipe threading technology out there, located at our various Engineering Solution Centres across the UK, Ireland and the Benelux.
What is Pipe Threading?
Pipe Threading refers to the process of creating a screw thread on the end of a section of pipe to ensure a safe and leak-proof connection with another section of pipe. This is most often used in fluid power systems whether it’s a plumbing system transporting water or a hydraulic system transporting hydraulic fluid.
The process is completed using a pipe threader which can be handheld, mechanical or power-operated, depending on the type of pipe being threaded. It is then threaded to be in line with BSPT or NPT, the latter of which is more commonly adopted in the US.

Our capabilities
Clean threading
Available for 1/4" to 4" pipe. Barrel and closed nipple options for various lengths up to 6.4 metres.
Up to standards
We work to BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread) and NPT (National Pipe Thread) standards.
Onsite evaluation
We'll come to your site to provide technical support and advice regarding pipe threading.
Scheduled dates
High-volume on-going business? No problem, ask about scheduled dates and how we can accommodate your requirements.
Perfect pipe centring
You'll get customised efficient threading of close and barrel nipples along with custom length tubes to BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread) and NPT (National Pipe Thread) standards.
Perfect pipe centring (critical for producing clean threads) and quick interchangeable dies are included in the process, allowing for pipe threading to be completed to exact customer requirements.
