SERVICES
Installation
From power unit installation to complete turnkey pipework installations and commissioning, our experienced hydraulic engineers will work in partnership with you to provide a safe, efficient and reliable system to meet your needs.
Hydraulic Installations
With support from the original hydraulic design engineers, our hydraulic service engineers provide a scalable service programme from on-site installation of hydraulic pipework to complex fault-finding and system design modifications, further extending the working life of the equipment for increased reliability.
We have a robust set of procedures that we follow to ensure that all work is carried out to the highest quality and that the system remains safe for operation. To provide customer peace of mind, we provide complete sets of paperwork from RAMS and sign-off sheets to complete working manuals.
This helps ensure that components have sufficient lubrication prior to start-up, reduces aeration and therefore reduces the risk of any potential failures.

Our capabilities
Hydraulic installations & commissioning
We are able to test, commission and install all hydraulic equipment including, cylinders, motors, power units, pumps and valves.
Safety assurance
As part of our commitment to health and safety, all power units are fully tested before being delivered to customers.
Piping & Pipework Systems
We provide a range of piping solutions, from welded solutions to complete piping solutions (CPS). We are also the sole supplier of BRUGG flexible pipework in the UK.
Transfer Pumps and Fuel Systems
We have the ability to design, supply and install an entire fuel system introducing a ‘completely secondary contained’ philosophy to fuel delivery, storage and transfer for commercial and industrial critical power installations throughout the UK.

Safety assurance
We ensure that our highly qualified technical engineers fully check and test hydraulic power units, following stringent guidelines around oil flushing. The process ensures that all debris is cleared before testing, that oil runs through the system leak-free, and that all components, including pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, and HPUs, are functioning correctly.
Piping
Parker’s high-performance pipe flaring technology represents the very latest in non-weld technology. The Parker F37 Flange, Retaining Ring and High Performance Flange (HPF) systems use ISO and SAE footprints with an outer diameter up to 273mm (10”) and pressures up to 420 bar.

BRUGG Pipework Systems
Flowtech have the capabilities to supply and install complex pipework systems, and we are the sole supplier of BRUGG flexible pipework for industrial applications across the UK.
Our pipework systems can be installed in continuous lengths of up to 1km with no joints required, and the FSR and Secon-X pipe varieties can be permanently monitored for leakage with a pressure or vacuum leak detector.
We have supplied SGB Leak Detection Systems for more than 20 years, which use pressure or vacuum monitoring technology for testing double walled tanks and pipework.
Transfer Pumps and Fuelling systems
We have the ability to design, supply and install an entire fuel system introducing a ‘completely secondary contained’ philosophy to fuel delivery, storage and transfer for commercial and industrial critical power installations throughout the UK.
System components include bespoke designs from tanker remote fill points and bunded storage tanks, through to fully automated fuel supply systems incorporating duplex pump sets, contained manifolds/tees, control systems, fuel polishing equipment and continuous double walled leak monitored metallic pipework.
Our installation capabilities also extend to the supply of liquid gas pumps, including Ebsray Pumps, for use in the fuelling industry. More than 2,000 Ebsray Pumps have been supplied by Flowtech into the LPG market the last 20 years.
