Our extensive stockholding of fluid power components extends to a selection of hydraulic pumps from key manufacturers, allowing our customers to access premium components, as well as bespoke modifications.
Flowtech offer many types of pump including industrial vane pumps and hydraulic hand pumps, as well as a range of gear pumps manufactured using different materials such as aluminium and cast iron.
If a customer makes an enquiry for a hydraulic pump that is different from our off-the-shelf components, we can draw on the extensive knowledge from our various Engineering Solution Centres (ESCs), to modify or disassemble a pump to create a bespoke unit when required.
We are privileged enough to have engineers with decades of experience who can assist with all kinds of enquiries, working with customers to find the right solution for their project and industry.
What types of pump are in stock at Flowtech?
We have a comprehensive range of hydraulic pumps available in our catalogue and online, as well as the option to create tailor-made pumps from our ESC locations if needed.
Our product lines extend to global brands including FT Pro, Parker, Danfoss Vickers and Roquet, bringing high performance and reliable components for use in all kinds of applications. We stock hydraulic pumps including:
- Open-loop and closed-loop variable displacement pumps
- Gear Pumps (Groups 0-5)
- Industrial Vane Pumps
- Single / Double Acting Hand Pumps
Usage of hydraulic pumps is universal between a number of industries including Agriculture, Construction and Transport, but can ultimately be used in any area that required an efficient hydraulic system.
Flowtech’s solution for pumps
We have the expertise, facilities and equipment to provide a complete solution for customers, especially when it comes to hydraulic pumps, where we excel in design, manufacture and installation as part of a larger hydraulic system.
Our Flowtech engineers have specialist knowledge of pumps to the extent that they are able to recommend the most appropriate hydraulic components for an application, no matter which industry it will be used for.
There are often enquiries from customers who are working under specific conditions and require hydraulic pumps to work within an existing system or as part of a brand new build.
When a bespoke approach is required for a specific pump or system, we’re happy to work closely with customers to find the right solution for them.
Which brands manufacture pumps?
We collaborate with a huge number of leading hydraulic pump manufacturers who operate globally, supplying the very best components for us to distribute to customers. Our brand selection for components we’re able to modify from our ESC, includes:
- Danfoss is a long-time supplier for Flowtech who have a long history of supplying power and motion control systems and solutions. Their pump range includes their PVQ inline variable displacement pumps and PVM variable displacement axial piston pumps
- Roquet components include gear pumps and motors that range. They are specially designed to incorporate noise reduction technology but can be modified further by our engineers depending on requirements
- Casappa was founded more than 60 years ago, supplying a range of hydraulic pumps including variable displacement pumps and axial piston pumps
- FT Pro is Flowtech’s own brand line of products, incorporating ten legacy brands that were amalgamated in 2023 into one brand leader. Their product ranges are made up of a vast range of hydraulic components, including a number of gear pumps, motors and accumulators
- Parker are a global leader in motion and control technologies, supplying a vast range of fluid power products to Flowtech, including variable piston, fixed vane and fixed gear pumps, as well as hydraulic accumulators through their Parker Olaer brand
Customised pumps from our ESC
Flowtech engineers often take a bespoke approach to the design and implementation of hydraulic systems, providing a full service solution for customers from numerous industries.
Whilst the majority of our enquiries call for off-the-shelf products that are suitable for most applications, there are circumstances where a pump might need to be modified for use within a certain industry or certain environment.
This might include changing the dimensions, construction or even the capabilities of a hydraulic pump so it is fit for purpose.
Our process flow for modifying a hydraulic pump will resemble the following:
- Enquiry
- Design
- Assembly
- Tested & Certified
- Installation
Whether it is a complete disassembly so our engineers can build a new pump from scratch, or just a few minor modifications, our Flowtech engineers will work with you to create the ideal solution for your purposes.
